overview
Oregon is fought vertically: every bombsite is defended from at least two floors at once. The floors are thin enough that hatches become a tool rather than a liability, opened on purpose to move players between levels. Most sites come down to trading time, so what you concede matters as much as what you hold.
Three floors with a bombsite on every level: one in the basement, two on 1F, one on 2F. White stairs run from Zig Hall up to 2F and down to the basement, and the main stairs do the same from Main Hall. A third set climbs the big tower from basement to 2F in a single run. Breakable floor is everywhere, which is why both sides end up stretched across levels instead of fighting on one.
2F Kids' Dorms, 2F Dorms Main Hall. A numbers site: three players up top, two roaming below and rotating up when the site needs them. Big window, attic and balcony are the entry points that decide the round, and the walls want denial from outside.
1F Kitchen, 1F Dining Hall. The most attacked site, and the one where you concede ground on purpose. Meeting hall and garage side are given up, so small tower, the default wall and shower into zig hall have to be held perfectly. Anchor deep in kitchen and watch the freezer below.
1F Meeting Hall, 1F Kitchen. The vertical site. Open your own hatches to the basement so the floors feed each other and the tower stays reachable, roughly three below and two above. The players up top hold big window and drop the moment 1F needs them.
B Laundry Room, B Supply Room. All crossfires and angles. Tower stairs is the aggressive seat, but giving up the backside collapses the rest, and the hatches and the freezer are never conceded cheaply. Vision onto the front site is what makes the angles work.
Oregon is won by how you split five players across three floors rather than by any one anchor. The players above are only worth their slot if they drop the moment the floor below needs them, and denying the plant from above is what most rounds turn on. The rest is patience: hold the angle you were given, and do not get baited out of position.
